This is Journey with Prayer, a contemplated prayer journey
Speaker:corresponding to our previous episode, choosing kin,
Speaker:part 3, embracing new family dynamics with
Speaker:guest, Danica.
Speaker:We love because he first loved us.
Speaker:1st John four nineteen in the ESV.
Speaker:Gracious father, we come before you humbly,
Speaker:acknowledging the depth of your love and grace. We are
Speaker:grateful for your love that precedes all, providing a
Speaker:blueprint for how we should extend love to others.
Speaker:And, lord, Thank you for showing us the immense capacity of
Speaker:your love through your redemptive plan, culminating the
Speaker:sacrifice of your son, Jesus Christ for our salvation.
Speaker:As we reflect on the theme of inclusion and belonging,
Speaker:we are mindful of those that that may feel isolated and in need of a
Speaker:family's embrace. So we pray for
Speaker:individuals who are seeking a place of belonging, asking that
Speaker:you guide them to find warmth, love, and
Speaker:acceptance within families and communities.
Speaker:Lord, may they experience your unconditional love through the
Speaker:compassion and open arms of those around
Speaker:You transform our hearts and minds to mirror the
Speaker:expansive and sacrificial love depicted in the life if of
Speaker:Jesus. May we be bearers of your
Speaker:love, pouring out kindness and acceptance to those who are
Speaker:lonely and hidden, offering them a sense of belonging
Speaker:and worth. Help us, lord, to
Speaker:love others as you have loved thus, selflessly
Speaker:and unconditionally with open hearts and open
Speaker:arms. In our pursuit of reflecting
Speaker:your love, of guide us to be intentional in reaching out to
Speaker:those who may feel forgotten or isolated as we
Speaker:strive to offer them a place of belonging and inclusion
Speaker:within our families and communities. In Jesus' name,
Speaker:amen. So
Speaker:as you go through your week, I encourage you to reflect.
Speaker:Take the time to reflect on first John 4/19.
Speaker:We love because he first loved us.
Speaker:And consider how God's love for us inspires and informs
Speaker:our capacity to love and include others in our families and

Speaker:pray. Set aside dedicated time to pray

Speaker:and families where they will find love, acceptance, and
Speaker:belonging. Pray for open hearts and
Speaker:compassion within families and communities that They may become
Speaker:places of refuge and inclusion for those who are lonely or
Speaker:feeling hidden. And Pray for your
Speaker:transformation, seeking to reflect god's love
Speaker:by actively reaching out to those who need acceptance and care,
