- Reflect: Take time to journal or meditate on the theme of waiting and God's faithfulness. Consider how you can trust in God's perfect timing in your own life and how you can extend support to others who are in a season of waiting.
- Engage: Seek out opportunities to support families or friends who are in a season of waiting. Offer a listening ear or simply be present. Look for ways to show love and care to those on this journey.

This is Journey with Prayer, a contemplative prayer journey
Speaker:corresponding to our episode, The Wait Worth It, part
Speaker:2, bringing Sammy home.
Speaker:But they who wait on the lord shall renew their strength.
Speaker:They shall mount up with wings like eagles.
Speaker:They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk and not
Speaker:faint. Isaiah 40 verse 31 from
Speaker:the ESV. Almighty and
Speaker:loving god, we come before you with hearts full
Speaker:of gratitude, acknowledging your faithfulness and
Speaker:your goodness in the waiting. We thank you
Speaker:for the assurance that as we wait
Speaker:upon you, our strength will be renewed, and
Speaker:we will rise up with wings like eagles.
Speaker:We are truly grateful for the ways in which you guide and sustain
Speaker:us even in the midst of uncertainty and longing.
Speaker:Thank you for being a god who sees our every need
Speaker:and bonds with perfect timing.
Speaker:We declare our trust in you knowing that your plans are
Speaker:always for our good and for your glory.
Speaker:And as we reflect on your unwavering faithfulness,
Speaker:we lift up all those who are in a season of waiting in longing.
Speaker:May they find comfort and strength in your promises, and may
Speaker:they experience your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Speaker:Surround them with a community that supports and uplifts them,
Speaker:reminding them that they are not alone in their journeys.
Speaker:And we pray for a deep sense of hope and perseverance to fill
Speaker:their hearts as they await the fulfillment of your
Speaker:perfect plans. Grant us grace and love
Speaker:to support one another, and help us to be patient
Speaker:and understanding, offering a listening ear, encouraging
Speaker:words, and a helping hand whenever needed.
Speaker:May your compassion heart be reflected in our actions
Speaker:and our interactions as we seek to embrace and uplift those
Speaker:who are in need of love in support. In your
Speaker:mercy and grace, may we be transformed to have hearts that
Speaker:are open to your leading, always ready to extend love
Speaker:and care to those around us. And we ask for courage
Speaker:and wisdom to be vessels of your love, especially to those
Speaker:who are waiting for a breakthrough or a miracle in their lives.
Speaker:Empower us to be advocates of your grace and kindness,
Speaker:reaching out to those in need with empathy and understanding. We
Speaker:wanna be just like you. Make us into the
Speaker:image of your son. Jesus' name, amen.
Speaker:So as you go through tweak, I wanna encourage you.
Speaker:1st of all, reflect. Take a time this moment
Speaker:to journal or meditate on the theme of waiting and God's
Speaker:faithfulness. Consider how you can trust
Speaker:in God's perfect timing in your own life and how you can
Speaker:extend support to others who are in a season of waiting
Speaker:and engage. Seek out opportunities to support families or
Speaker:friends who are in a season of waiting, whether it be for adoption
Speaker:or maybe they're hoping to have a child. Whatever it may be,
Speaker:offer a listening ear or simply be present. Look
Speaker:for ways to show love and care to those on this journey.
Speaker:And finally, pray. Set aside an intentional
Speaker:time to pray for those who are waiting for answers to their
Speaker:prayers. Here's 3 different ways that you can
Speaker:pray. Pray for families in the midst of the adoption process that they
Speaker:may experience peace, provision, and a strong
Speaker:support as they navigate the complexities of
Speaker:adoption. And pray for children waiting to be
Speaker:welcomed into forever families that they may be
