the ESV. Almighty and

loving god, we come before you with hearts full

of gratitude, acknowledging your faithfulness and

your goodness in the waiting. We thank you

Speaker: 00:00:51

for the assurance that as we wait

Speaker: 00:00:54

upon you, our strength will be renewed, and

Speaker: 00:00:58

we will rise up with wings like eagles.

We are truly grateful for the ways in which you guide and sustain

Speaker: 00:01:07

us even in the midst of uncertainty and longing.

Thank you for being a god who sees our every need

and bonds with perfect timing.

We declare our trust in you knowing that your plans are

always for our good and for your glory.

And as we reflect on your unwavering faithfulness,

we lift up all those who are in a season of waiting in longing.

May they find comfort and strength in your promises, and may

they experience your peace that surpasses all understanding.

Surround them with a community that supports and uplifts them,

reminding them that they are not alone in their journeys.

And we pray for a deep sense of hope and perseverance to fill

their hearts as they await the fulfillment of your

perfect plans. Grant us grace and love

to support one another, and help us to be patient

and understanding, offering a listening ear, encouraging

words, and a helping hand whenever needed.

May your compassion heart be reflected in our actions

and our interactions as we seek to embrace and uplift those

who are in need of love in support. In your

1st of all, reflect. Take a time this moment

to journal or meditate on the theme of waiting and God's

Speaker: 00:03:17

faithfulness. Consider how you can trust

Speaker: 00:03:21

in God's perfect timing in your own life and how you can

Speaker: 00:03:24

extend support to others who are in a season of waiting

Speaker: 00:03:29

and engage. Seek out opportunities to support families or

Speaker: 00:03:32

friends who are in a season of waiting, whether it be for adoption

Speaker: 00:03:36

or maybe they're hoping to have a child. Whatever it may be,

Speaker: 00:03:40

offer a listening ear or simply be present. Look

Speaker: 00:03:44

for ways to show love and care to those on this journey.

And finally, pray. Set aside an intentional

time to pray for those who are waiting for answers to their

prayers. Here's 3 different ways that you can

pray. Pray for families in the midst of the adoption process that they

may experience peace, provision, and a strong

support as they navigate the complexities of

adoption. And pray for children waiting to be

welcomed into forever families that they may be

surrounded by love, safety, and hope

during their time of waiting. I pray for personal transformation

in your own heart, asking God to cultivate a spirit of

patience, empathy, and readiness to extend
