Passage
1 Peter 4:10-11
ESV (English Standard Version):
"As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen."
NLT (New Living Translation):
"God has given each of you a gift from his great variety of spiritual gifts. Use them well to serve one another. Do you have the gift of speaking? Then speak as though God himself were speaking through you. Do you have the gift of helping others? Do it with all the strength and energy that God supplies. Then everything you do will bring glory to God through Jesus Christ. All glory and power to him forever and ever! Amen."
NIV (New International Version):
"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen."

This is Journey with Prayer, a prayer journey corresponding to our
Speaker:episode Leading Differently Together, APES
Speaker:finale with Daria Nardoza.
Speaker:As each has received a gift, use it to serve one
Speaker:another as good stewards of God's very grace.
Speaker:Whoever speaks as one who speaks oracles of God.
Speaker:Whoever serves as one who serves by the strength that God
Speaker:provides, in order that in everything God may be
Speaker:glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong
Speaker:glory, dominion, forever and ever. Amen.
Speaker:First Peter 4 10 to 11, taken from the ESV.
Speaker:Everlasting father, we come before your presence in
Speaker:humble recognition of your boundless grace that you've poured
Speaker:out into our lives. Each of
Speaker:us, recipients of your diverse and perfect gifts, are called
Speaker:to be stewards in your kingdom, to love and to serve your body,
Speaker:your church. And we give
Speaker:thanks, dear God, for the unique ways in which you have fashioned us.
Speaker:Each to serve one another and to manifest your love on the earth.
Speaker:In our use of these gifts, may we be slow to speak and
Speaker:quick to listen. And when we do speak, let it bring
Speaker:truth and love, and may our actions reflect the serving
Speaker:strength that only you supply.
Speaker:We ask that through this purpose full endeavor, our lives might be
Speaker:instruments that point to your glory and the redemption found
Speaker:in Jesus Christ. And in all
Speaker:things, Lord, let your name be exalted, and may our efforts lead
Speaker:to the magnification of your name, which stands for all
Speaker:eternity.
Speaker:And God transform us into servants who seek no greater
Speaker:reward than the smile found on your face and the joy
Speaker:found in serving others.
Speaker:Help us to be
Speaker:one another in the use of each one's gifts and
Speaker:fostering an environment where the light of your grace shines through
Speaker:combined efforts. Efforts. And
Speaker:as we look to the example of Christ, our ultimate guide
Speaker:and teacher, embolden us with strength, enrich
Speaker:us with wisdom, and endow us with compassion, so we
Speaker:might carry out your works with a spirit of unity
Speaker:and harmony. And may the love that we share in our service be a testament
Speaker:to your unending faithfulness, and may our lives be a
Speaker:continual offering of praise to you. For you are the
Speaker:foundation of all good, the source of all hope, and the
Speaker:architect of true community. We pray all
Speaker:this in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus.
Speaker:Amen.
Speaker:So as you go through your week, I wanna encourage you. Take
Speaker:the time to reflect on 1st Peter 4 10 to 11.
Speaker:Reflect on the gifts God has granted you and how they can be used to
Speaker:serve others in a stewardship that reflects God's very
Speaker:grace. And engage.
Speaker:Actively seek out opportunities within your church or local community
Speaker:to employ your gifts and service. Or find someone that
Speaker:just needs that listening ear and allow the holy spirit to work
Speaker:through you and the gifts that he's given you. Finally
Speaker:pray. You can pray these three ways. Pray for a heart
Speaker:eager to serve and the ability to recognize how your
Speaker:individual gifts can contribute towards the good of
Speaker:others in your community. Pray for
Speaker:church leaders and members alike that they may be inspired to operate in
Speaker:their gifts with the primary goal of glorifying
Speaker:Jesus in all things. And
Speaker:finally, seek a personal transformation that allows you to let go
Speaker:of fear or inhibition that may hinder you from fully
Speaker:utilizing your gifts, asking God to replace you with his
Speaker:strength and his purpose. You can check the show
Speaker:notes for these references, prayers, and scriptures, or to

Speaker:I'm Johan, and thanks for praying with me today.
